Becoming a Cheetah

Step 1: Complete the application to become a Central Ohio Cheetah.  

Step 2: Receive acceptance to become a Central Ohio Cheetah.  Priority selection will be participation in prior seasons and other family participation.  Age and events may limit numbers in some groups for quality instruction and safety.

Step 3: Obtain a USA Track and Field Youth Membership for each Athlete

Each Athlete much be a USA Track and Field Member to participate.  As an USA Track and field Affiliate this is a requirement.  All athletes that will be under 18 years old will have a youth membership.  Please have a scanned copy of the athlete's birth certificate available when obtaining the USATF membership. Age verification is part of the process and could delay participating in meets if age is not verified (this process could take up to 7 days).  If the athlete has had a USATF membership in the past, the parent that registered the athlete previously will have to renew the membership. Any athlete that will turn 18 years old during the season will have to contact the directors for more information.

Step 4: Accept roster spot and pay fee.

Have your Athlete's USATF Membership Number Available.

If the roster spot is not accepted and fee paid by the designated date; the roster spot may be given to another athlete

Step 5: Register and Download the Athletic.net Phone App

Athletic.net is used to register for meets.
